Page 89 Chop the head- Sri Raag Mahala 2- ਸਲੋਕ ਮਃ ੨ ॥ Shalok, Second Mehl: ਜੋ ਸਿਰੁ ਸਾਂਈ ਨਾ ਨਿਵੈ ਸੋ ਸਿਰੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਡਾਰਿ ॥ Chop off that head which does not bow to the Lord. ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਸੁ ਪਿੰਜਰ ਮਹਿ ਬਿਰਹਾ ਨਹੀ ਸੋ ਪਿੰਜਰੁ ਲੈ ਜਾਰਿ ॥੧॥ O Nanak, that human body, in which there is no pain of separation from the Lord-take that body and burn it. ||1|| Page 558 Chop the head- Wadhans Mahala 1- ਤੈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਜਿ ਆਖੈ ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਿਆ ਦੀਜੈ ॥ One who brings me a message from my Lord and Master - says Nanak, what shall I give to Him? ਸੀਸੁ ਵਢੇ ਕਰਿ ਬੈਸਣੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਵਿਣੁ ਸਿਰ ਸੇਵ ਕਰੀਜੈ ॥ Cutting off my head, I give it to Him to sit upon; without my head, I shall still serve Him. Page 1369 Shave the head- Salok Kabeer ji- ਕਬੀਰ ਮਾਇ ਮੂੰਡਉ ਤਿਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੀ ਜਾ ਤੇ ਭਰਮੁ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥ Kabir! Shave the mother of that guru, who does not take away one’s doubt. ਆਪ ਡੁਬੇ ਚਹੁ ਬੇਦ ਮਹਿ ਚੇਲੇ ਦੀਏ ਬਹਾਇ ॥੧੦੪॥ He himself is drowning in the four Vedas; he drowns his disciples as well. ||104||
